Second FRS Elbfähre Music Cruise: “Grossstadtgeflüster” comes on board on May 28, 2026

FRS Elbfähre announces the second Music Cruise on the ferry route between Glückstadt and Wischhafen. On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the Berlin-based band “Grossstadtgeflüster” will perform a concert on board an Elbe ferry, creating an extraordinary live experience on the water.

After the successful premiere in 2024 with the band “Feine Sahne Fischfilet,” FRS Elbfähre is continuing the format in 2026. The Music Cruise combines live music with a maritime backdrop, once again turning the Elbe into a stage for a special open-air experience. With “Grossstadtgeflüster,” a band comes on board that has stood for high-energy shows, strong stage presence, and a distinctive sound blending pop, punk, hip-hop, and electronic influences for many years. “With the second Music Cruise, we want to build on the success of the first and once again offer our guests a concert experience that is truly unique,” says Tim Kunstmann, Managing Director of FRS Elbfähre. “‘Grossstadtgeflüster’ stands for joy of performance, attitude, and tremendous live energy—making the band a perfect fit for this format on the Elbe.”

“Grossstadtgeflüster” was founded in Berlin in 2003 and has secured a firm place in the German-speaking music scene with its sharp lyrics, unmistakable style, and close connection to its audience. For more than two decades, the band has captivated fans with songs that combine wit, irony, and attitude, unfolding a unique dynamic in live performances. More than 1,000 concerts played, millions of streams, and sold-out tours underscore their strong stage presence. Their latest album, “Das Über-Icke,” was released in 2024 and reached number 5 in the German album charts.

This special live energy meets an equally special setting during the Music Cruise. As with the first edition, guests can look forward to an incomparable overall experience: the combination of live music, evening atmosphere, and the passing Elbe landscape makes the FRS Elbfähre Music Cruise an event that goes far beyond a classic concert.

Admission for the event begins at 7:00 p.m. from Wischhafen and at 7:45 p.m. from Glückstadt. Ticket buyers should note the start of advance sales: April 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. Tickets are available online at www.frs-elbfaehre.de, where further information about the event can also be found.
