5th FRS Helgoline Music Cruise on June 25th with the DONOTS on Helgoland

The 5th FRS Helgoline Music-Cruise will bring the DONOTS to the North Sea island of Helgoland on June 25, 2025. The band will perform an exclusive concert at the Nordseehalle. What makes it special: Fans and the band will travel together aboard the high-speed catamaran "Halunder Jet" to the island. Tickets, including travel to and from the island, will be available from May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM via www.frs-helgoline.de.
Hamburg / Helgoland, May 7, 2025 – "With the DONOTS, we are bringing one of Germany's most popular live punk bands to the country's only offshore island and turning it into much more than just a concert," says Tim Kunstmann, Managing Director of FRS Helgoline. "Since fans and the band will be traveling together on the HSC 'Halunder Jet,' the concert experience starts on board."
Exclusive concert in the middle of the North Sea
The DONOTS have been a staple in the German rock scene for three decades. With their twelfth album, Heut ist ein guter Tag, they achieved their first direct entry at No. 1 on the German album charts in 2023. The band has also announced their new unplugged album, Schwert aus Holz, for September 2025.
The concert on Helgoland will be the band's first performance on Germany's only offshore island, making it a special event for everyone involved. "We’re thrilled to finally play on Helgoland after acts like Thees Uhlmann & Band, Kettcar, and Fettes Brot," says lead singer Ingo Donot. "This is our first time performing there."
"Helgoland as a stage for a band like the DONOTS is a true highlight and an ideal addition to our diverse event program – for us as an island and for all guests," says Katharina Schlicht, Director of Tourism for Helgoland. “We are very excited to be part of this special live event.”

From the Elbe to the Nordseehalle – punk and power heading to the island
The exclusive concert shuttle will depart on June 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM from the Hamburg Landungsbrücken, with a stop in Cuxhaven (departure: 11:30 AM). The arrival in Helgoland is planned for around 12:45 PM. The concert will begin at 4:30 PM, with the return journey via Cuxhaven at 8:00 PM, and arrival in Hamburg around 11:45 PM.
The success story of the Music-Cruise continues
With the DONOTS, another high-profile band joins the list of Music-Cruise acts: In recent years, Fettes Brot, Thees Uhlmann & Band, Johannes Oerding, and Kettcar have all performed, selling out the island’s hall. This year, high demand is also expected. In the past, tickets have sold out quickly.
The event is organized by FRS Helgoline in cooperation with the Helgoland Tourism Service and Grand Hotel van Cleef. Combination tickets (ship + concert) will be available from May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM online at www.frs-helgoline.de, and also at the FRS Helgoline ticket counter on Helgoland, where concert-only tickets will also be available.
