Morocco • Since the start of its operations in the Strait of Gibraltar in 2000, FRS has been a strong advocate and supporter of social and medical development projects in the country.
In October 2019, we supported the participation of two surgeons of the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, in a medical workshop in Jerada and Berkane by paying for their return flights.
Participants of the workshop discussed the feasibility of lung transplantation for patients diagnosed with end-stage lung cancer in the Région de l’Oriental. The workshop was organized by the two organizations Compétences Médicales des Marocains du Monde (C3M) and German-Moroccan Competence Network (DMK) in cooperation with the province of Jerada, and the Délégation Provincial de Santé.
