Be it in the restaurants aboard our ferries or in our duty free shops: Wherever possible, we always have been using recyclable products. The use of recycling materials as well as respecting local garbage separation guidelines are a matter of course for us.
Furthermore, it is part of our environmental strategy to produce as little waste as possible. In regards to our procurement processes, we thus focus on acquiring loose products and avoiding double packaging. Another step in the implementation of our strategy is the use of reusable dishes. On most of our vessels we therefore replaced disposable tableware and plastic bottles with environmentally friendly alternatives.
Project "Go Green"
Our US subsidiary Clipper Vacations is committed to focussing recycling and waste prevention in 2020. With the project „Go Green“, the company aims at reducing plastic consumption and waste production in the Clipper ecosystem by up to 80 %.
