For our holding company, we are currently looking for a

Cloud Operations Engineer (m/f/d), throughout Germany

As a Cloud Operations Engineer (m/f/d) you will support FRS in the operation of applications, based on modern technologies in cloud environments. You can expect an agile, technology-driven team in an exciting, growing environment within the dynamically developing FRS group.

Responsibilities

  • Expansion of our cloud infrastructures (AWS)
  • Assumption of various administrative tasks within the group's IT landscape
  • Ensuring the functionality of our business-critical IT systems

Qualifications

  • You think customer- and solution-oriented – you are particularly attracted to new approaches and technologies
  • Broad IT cloud (AWS) knowledge, preferably in at least some of the following areas: EC2, Aurora RDS, VPC, Cloudfront, IAM, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Terraform, ArgoCD, Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaegger, ELK, VMware, RHEL/CentOS, Firewalls and VPN, Python
  • You have already been able to gain your first practical experience in the AWS environment, in container management or the orchestration of a microservice architecture
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills - German would be a plus
