After we receive your application, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from us. In spring before the start of the apprenticeship we review all applications and decide who to invite to a first digital interview.
If the first interview went well, we invite you to another interview in our headquarter. On the one hand this allows us to get to know you and on the other hand you will have the opportunity to get to know us.

Your Dual Course Of Study At FRS
Are you looking for the optimal combination of theory and professional practice? Are you also interested in business management processes in a worldwide operating shipping group? Then join the crew, bring another breath of fresh air to our company and study business administration in the dual system at FRS!
In rotation with theory at a university, you are involved in regular practical phases at our company. In this way, you can directly apply what you have learned at university and gain important experience for your career. You will pass through all the specialist departments based in Flensburg and also get to know FRS subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. This will give you a deep insight into our international company. In addition, regular projects take place in the team of the apprentices and dual students, which will teach you and the team further professional and social skills.
In addition to the dual course of study with a Bachelor of Arts degree, FRS supports you in optionally completing an apprenticeship as an office management assistant with a Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) degree.
Your Studies At Our Partner Universities
You have the choice! You can choose between the Duale Hochschule Schleswig-Holstein (DHSH) in Flensburg or the Nordakademie (NAK) in Elmshorn. At both universities, the theory block (10 weeks) alternates with practical training. At the DHSH the course takes 6 semesters (3 years), at the Nordakademie 7 semesters (3.5 years). The optional training to become an office management assistant (m/f/d) does not require a vocational school or further training, but only an intermediate and main examination at the IHK in Flensburg.
